Philippine Oil Deregulation Law, Oil Companies and the Transport Groups
Have you notice, the price of oil in the world market is dropping but still the oil companies in the Philippines doesn't want to chop off their prices.
It is time for the government especially the Congress to rethink and study again the Oil Deregulation Law. The cartel is using the flaw in some of the prohibition inside the Oil Deregulation Law to delay or to take for granted the system.
Even though there are some companies doing their rollback, still their are hesitating to give us a fair rollback.
Another sad news is even there are some rollbacks in oil products, transport groups will not cut transport fare fee to help ease the pain of ordinary commuters.
The declined in oil price could provide a form of stimulus to our economy.
