Lower House and the Senate in a tug of war for Joc-Joc Bolante probe

The Senators are shocked with the decision from the Lower house in inviting Joc-Joc Bolante to a house probe. The Senate has scheduled their hearing on Thursday (Nov. 13) for Bolante but the Congress want Bolante begin its investigation into the P728-million fertilizer fund scam on Wednesday Nov. 12, a day before the Senate hearing.

Their something fishy on the motives of the Congressmen on racing to get the architect of the fertilizer fund scam.

Allegedly, most of the Congressmen has benefited on the said scam and was used for the 2004 election.

Even though their "equal" branch, the Senate are the first one who revealed the said anomalies and their the one who issue a cancellation of Bolante's passport that caused him to be deported from the US. It is best that the Senate is the first one to investigate Bolante not the lower house who at first is not interested on the said corrupt official.

FYI: Some of the members of the committee in Congress that want to investigate Bolante is included in the list of officials that receives money from fertilizer scam.
