Sarah Palin quits as Alaska Governor
Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has announced she will resign at the end of this month, July 26 and will not run for a second term as Governor in 2010. She will transfer her power to Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell.
The former Republican vice presidential candidate feels that she must focus herself to her family and her decision will be good for Alaska to move forward under Parnell without distraction.
It's a risky political gamble.....

Palin said, "I never believed that I nor anyone else needs a title to do this, to make a difference. I'm determined to take the right path for Alaska, even though it is unconventional and it's not so comfortable."But Sarah Palin's intentions are being doubted and many are now speculating that this is her big step in seeking a U.S. Senate seat or the Presidency in 2012.
