typhoon "Kiko": 73,171 people were affected and 10 dead
National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) reported the latest number of casualties and people affected by destructive typhoon "Kiko" (murakot) which cause landslides and heavy-deep floods in some part of Central Luzon and Metro Manila.
According to NDCC, 14,590 families or 73,171 people were affected. 10 died and 18 were injured which include 12 people in Baguio City.
The estimated cost of damage to infrastructure and agriculture in Benguet Province and Pampanga was pegged at Php 4,260,000.00: Infrastructure Php 2,750,000.00 and Agriculture Php 1,510,000.00.
