Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan on a shooting rampage in Fort Hood
Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who is a military psychiatrist goes berserk and he attacked his fellow soldiers in a shooting rampage in Fort Hood in Texas.
Fort Hood is the largest US Military installation which has a population of 71,000 (42000 soldier).
Using two handguns, Hasan killed 12 people and 31 people was injured in this incident. Lt. Gen. Robert Cone announced that the gunman is not dead but wounded and currently in custody.
After the shooting incident, two people was apprehended and being investigated if their involved with the suspect but later on they found the people innocent and now released.
Reportedly, Hasan is very upset after he got a poor evaluation performance and he is being shifted-deploy overseas (Iraq or Agfanistan). He also expresses frustration and discontent on US Foreign Policies.
It seems being a psychiatrist, he absorb all the bad vibes and experiences of his patients.
