Corazon "Cory" Aquino's funeral on Aug. 5; declared a special non-working holiday
Mourning supporters are now pouring at the burial of former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino's at the La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) gymnasium in Mandaluyong City.
The public viewing at the LSGH (Gate 5) will start at 5PM this Saturday, August 1 and will continue until Monday, August 3. The wake will be closed to the public from 4AM to 7AM Sunday.
The chief executive declared a 10-day period of national mourning (Aug. 1 to Aug. 10) over the death of Aquino through Proclamation No. 1850.
August 5 was declared a special non-working holiday and will be buried beside her late husband, Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr. at the Manila Memorial Park after t 9 a.m. mass at the Manila Cathedral
