storm "Ondoy" flooded Metro Manila and parts of Luzon; DISASTER EMERGENCY HOTLINES

Heavy rains and strong wind brought by tropical storm "Ondoy" flooded and submerged parts of Metro Manila and different province in Central Luzon forcing thousands of people to fled their homes.

National Disaster Coordinating Center (NDCC) placed 25 provinces and Metro Manila under a state of calamity.

The provinces are Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon, Isabela, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, La Union, Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro Oriental, Mindoro Occidental, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, and Bataan.

In some areas, flood waters has reached the roof of their houses making the rescue more difficult.
