BFAD: Sunflower Crackers Blueberry Cream Sandwich is Safe
The Sunflower Crackers Blueberry Cream Sandwich tested positive for melamine contamination by the Hong Kong-based Centre for Food Safety (CFS) and was temporarily suspended its distribution to the market by the Department of Health (DoH) but now after the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) further tested the said product they declared it melamine-free.
Health Secretary Francisco Duque of DOH lifted the ban on the said Sunflower product.
Sunflower assured the public that all their product are safe. They also added that their milk comes from Australia and New Zealand.
