Transparency in using Calamity funds

Many Filipinos are still struggling with the aftermath of typhoon "Ondoy" (Ketsana) and typhoon "Pepeng" (Parma) in which relief are very much needed. The government is busy appealing for international aid but some of their actions is now being doubted.

As the government seek more funds and planning to extend the state of calamity for a year, many are now thinking and suspicious if the said funds will really go to the victims and infrastructure project. Integrity is still the biggest problem of this Administration.

A smell of corruption-misuse are brewing with this funds and possibility of diverting this funds for the upcoming 2010 Philippine national election.

The Filipinos wants transparency and it is now time to put on a proper study about the preparedness procedures for future disaster.

Until now, many typhoon victims are not still receiving the proper help that they needed.
