Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize; many are surprised!

It surprising news for US President Barack Obama as he was named the recipient of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize (October 9). He was chosen by the Norwegian Nobel Committee “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between people.”
Obama's statement on the Nobel Prize, “Let me be clear: I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations. To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who’ve been honored by this prize.”
His win has started heated debate for many people worldwide. Some people are now saying "so soon? too early" and "What have he done to deserve it?"

I'm an Obama fan but even I were surprise. Maybe it is a show of international support but winning this recognition is another story. Barack haven't prove his self to the American people and the world yet.

Do you know Mahatma Gandhi who done deep sacrifice and made accomplishment never received the Nobel Peace Prize, although he was nominated five times between 1937 and 1948. It only shows the division in opinion on who will received the said award.

President of the United States Barack Obama was in a very compromising position as he was caught by a photographer. It seems Barack is appreciating the bootylicious behind of a Brazilian girl (Mayora Tavares) during the G8 summit. Joining Barack is French President Nicolas Sarkozi.

It only shows that men are born men.

UPDATE: Pictures can be deceiving. A video was released showing that Barack Obama is not checking the girl's backside but instead he was just helping another young delegate down the stairs.

First Lady Michelle Obama doesn't agree to Sasha and Malia Dolls

United States new first lady Michelle Obama expresses that she doesn't agree with Ty's newest dolls for their TyGirlz Collection featuring the images of her two daughters Sasha,7, and Malia,10, and naming the dolls Sweet Sasha and Marvelous Malia. (Ty rose to fame in the 90’s from their popular Beanie Babies)

She want to show to everyone that her daughter's new found popularity will never reached to her daughter's head. Still she want her young daughters to be a private citizens not a public figure. She feels it is inappropriate in using her daughters for marketing purposes.
The first lady’s office issued a statement, “We feel it is inappropriate to use young private citizens for marketing purposes,” said a spokeswoman for Michelle Obama in a statement.

Ty also releases a statement saying, Ty is denying that the Obama girls inspired the Sweet Sasha and Marvelous Malia dolls.

A Ty representative told CNN the company generally avoids naming dolls for “any particular living individual,” because doing so might interfere with how kids use their imaginations to play with them. But they wouldn’t reveal the source of their inspiration for the new figures, telling CNN that information relating to the development of the company’s merchandise — including how it comes up with products, product names, and trademarks – is proprietary.

This is the thing, her two daughter cannot be consider as a private citizens. The problem is whether she likes it or not, when her better half sworn to office as the new President, automatically her whole family will become a public/National figure.

I think privacy rights is just a small issue, if were talking about dolls. Even if it is for commercial purposes, this is a form of recognition to Sasha and Malia and a wake up call to the two that the eyes of public are now watching their every move.

In short, their the image of the Obama Administration.
