10 Filipinos died in helicopter crash in Afghanistan

Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) confirmed yesterday that 16 people died in a helicopter crash at a key NATO airbase in Afghanistan on Sunday and 10 of them are overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

The 10 Filipinos were legally deployed three years ago but due to imposed ban in Afghanistan, they were unable to return to the Philippines.

“Never judge a book by its cover!”

Following the footsteps of past winner Paul Potts, “Britain’s Got Talent” got another singing sensation in the name of Susan Boyle.

A 48 year-old housewife who walk the stage with confidence even though many makes fun with her appearance but when Boyle opens her mouth and sings a astonishing performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables, the crowd roar and a standing ovation was given to her.

The greatest part of show are the reactions of judges who were stun, shocked and amazed with Boyle's performance. Special mention to Simon Cowell's reaction.

Use Condom to protect from the wicked sperm

Checkout this interesting condom ad (latex condom extra safe) from Doc Morris Pharmacies which is campaigning for a responsible and safe sex.

Their new ad gives an interesting sarcastic risk point that if you practice unprotected sex, you may end up bringing the next Osama bin Laden, Adolf Hitler or Mao Zedong into the world.

Agreeing with Idiotbox about Piolo Pascual's bad commercial

I want to write a post entry criticizing Piolo Pascual "Speed Babad" detergent commercial but upon browsing I have read a post from Idiotbox who is also scratching his head and giving a negative reaction to the said commercial.

All of Idiotbox points are positively true and I agree with him. From a hunk Piolo to a misleading laundry man.

Some points that I think I must include:

1. I'm not sure if its all about the money but the sure thing is, his not thinking the word "credibility" that he is indeed using the said product.

2. Speed management only proves that they have big budget and can afford the services of Piolo Pascual.

3. The product gained more publicity but it creates a doubtful effect for the endorser.

4. Image is everything in the entertainment industry, you cannot blame people if your image is being judge.

Frustrated in Jocelyn "JocJoc" Bolante testimony in the Fertilizer Fund Scam

Watching the live television coverage of the Senate Hearing for the Fertilizer Fund Scam featuring the architect of the said fiasco Jocelyn "JocJoc" Bolante, I was blown away on some revelation and it seems he is prepared to go on battle.

I feels the frustration of the Senators on their failure to pressure JocJoc Bolante in telling the truth. Bolante's testimony is just a roller coaster ride.

This are some points that I noticed:

Point 1: JocJoc Bolante seems Ok and his treatment in St. Luke's Hospital is just a delaying tactics to prepare his script of lies. Bolante did not show any sign of exhaustion even though he was grilled for more than 10 hours by the senators.

Point 2: He is a Presidential appointee. The funny things is he doesn't know who endorses him. Again he lie, the President will never put a person to a position if he/she is not an ally.

Point 3: It is shocking that Bolante has power to release and distribute P728 million to 159 local government officials. Surely, the money landed on the hands to the people close to the administration. It is incredible that an undersecretary would be able to have such a huge amount released on his own.

Point 4: Another shocking moment is when didn't know any official that supports the President.

Point 5: His mission on said hearing is to save the President. He said, "President Arroyo was not involved in this particular project of the Department of Agriculture."

Bolante prefer to take the full responsibility on the Fertilizer fund mess.

Point 6: Bolante shows that he can lie and handle the raining accusations of the Senators.

Point 7: He is really poise under pressure. This means he is a Professional lying machine.

---

The Senator must think another strategy, get more witness and evidence to pressure Bolante to tell the truth.

Jocelyn "Joc-Joc" Bolante pipilitin maging Singer pag-uwi

Uy...Uy!
